When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Victorio Mingo made a kick off. Silvestre Estevon struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute. Fabio Chesus thought of kicking away a contribution in front of goal but messed it up so badly that the ball went to the right of an astonished Victor Hitz, a very annoying self made goal in the 93rd minute which led to 1-0. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Cafayete had won after a very even match.
