Teodoro Belo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 8th minute of the match, but Cristobal Cresconio made a huge save. Herminio Olivar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 21 minutes of play, Cafayete's Herminio Olivar made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Herminio Cordarrol was left in no man's land by his defense there! Herminio Olivar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Eulalio Indalecio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Herminio Olivar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Herminio Cordarrol tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cafayete's Cristobal Cresconio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Constantino Vito in the 35th minute of play. Constantino Vito might have been able to make a better finish in the 45th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Cristobal Cresconio. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Constantino Vito ran back to his position shaking his head.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Constantino Vito to strike the kick off in the second half. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Casimiro Beltxe during the 52nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 52 played minutes Cafayete got a freekick which was hit by Casimiro Beltxe. Eulalio Indalecio kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. The referee gave Centro Juventud Antoniana a penalty, 60 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Jonatan Mel, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Cafayete's Cristobal Cresconio. 1-2. Cristobal Cresconio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Constantino Vito, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. When Manuel Poncio fell near the penalty area in the 74th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Centro Juventud Antoniana's protests and gave Manuel Poncio a yellow card for diving instead. After 74 played minutes Centro Juventud Antoniana got a freekick which was hit by Manuel Poncio. Teodoro Belo took the ball and in the 84 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cristobal Cresconio. Cristobal Cresconio dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. Herminio Olivar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Herminio Cordarrol having to interfere. Alejandro Gutierrez charged in rather forcefully in the 95th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alejandro Gutierrez the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Cafayete's Alejandro Gutierrez got a free kick in the 95th minute. The Cafayete players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Centro Juventud Antoniana from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
