Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some careless play in the Rosario defense, Israel Chumo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jose Clementi. The Rosario fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jose Clementi should have stopped the shot. In the 8th minute Jeremias Suarez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lázaro Ponc saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fermin Sandalio blasted a shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jose Clementi having to make a save. Jose Clementi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Israel Chumo in the 13th minute of the match. After having played for 24 minutes, Fermin Sandalio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vilela FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fermin Sandalio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Alfonso Manex had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Israel Chumo scored 0-2 in the 29th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jose Clementi, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Lázaro Ponc stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jeremias Suarez's shot from short distance in the 33rd minute. Israel Chumo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jose Clementi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 42nd minute of play. Jose Clementi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Israel Chumo in the 44th minute of play. 48 minutes into the match, Vilela FC's Israel Chumo broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. After the first half Vilela FC were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Israel Chumo to strike the kick off in the second half. Jose Clementi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Israel Chumo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 56th minute of the match, Israel Chumo tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Jose Clementi saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 57th minute Benjamin Frascuelo suffered a foot injury and had to be helped off the field. Vinicio Berto charged in rather forcefully in the 57th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Vinicio Berto the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 57th minute, Vinicio Berto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jose Clementi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fermin Sandalio in the 59th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jeremias Suarez in the 66th minute of play forced Vilela FC's goalkeeper Lázaro Ponc to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Alfonso Manex had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jimeno Elizardo was extremely unlucky when he, in the 71st minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. The supporters of Vilela FC booed when Rosario was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vinicio Berto didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fermin Sandalio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Jose Clementi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jimeno Elizardo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alfonso Manex in the 78th minute of play forced Vilela FC's goalkeeper Lázaro Ponc to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ernesto Aznaro kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. If Israel Chumo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fermin Sandalio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 90th minute Delmiro Hermelando shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jose Clementi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 92nd minute, Jeremias Suarez ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Lázaro Ponc was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2.
