Jeronimo Gilesindo made a fantastic save in the 20th minute, when Mateo Pancho sent off a good shot on target. In the 21st match minute, atletico mar del plata was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sixto Kelemen to maneuver through the defense. In the 22nd minute, Mateo Pancho left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Fragueyro fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Jacinto Vasco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aquilino Mikolas in the 26th minute of the match. Vicente Medero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Vicente Medero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Jeronimo Gilesindo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vicente Medero struck a weak shot in the 31st minute. Jeronimo Gilesindo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Fragueyro. In the 32nd match minute, atletico mar del plata was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eduardo Xabel to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 33 minutes, Vicente Medero managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fragueyro's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vicente Medero was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Vicente Medero recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Mateo Pancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 42 minutes, Mateo Pancho made it 3-0 with a short kick to the right side. atletico mar del plata's Jeronimo Gilesindo tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Vicente Medero in the 45th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jeronimo Gilesindo saved atletico mar del plata from getting behind. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Vicente Medero to strike the kick off in the second half. Jeronimo Gilesindo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mateo Pancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Vicente Medero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to atletico mar del plata getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Sixto Kelemen hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 67th minute, Vicente Medero managed to get in a good position for a shot. Fragueyro's supporters rose to their feet, but Vicente Medero was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jeronimo Gilesindo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jeronimo Gilesindo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mateo Pancho in the 73rd minute of play. Vicente Medero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jeronimo Gilesindo having to interfere. After 78 played minutes atletico mar del plata got a freekick which was hit by Baldomero Ganix. Jeronimo Gilesindo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vicente Medero, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 89th minute, Aquilino Mikolas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Vicente Medero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Jeronimo Gilesindo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 94th minute Mateo Pancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jeronimo Gilesindo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. atletico mar del plata's Jeronimo Gilesindo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vicente Medero in the 96th minute of play.
