Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Edelmiro Erlantz got the match started through his kick off. Santo Balesio didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Serafino Tonio went, in the 5th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Santo Balesio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Honorato Brion, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lisandro Aires got free with Teobaldo Senen in the 17th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 23 played minutes Safarranchos FC got a freekick which was hit by Elvio Tano. Serafino Tonio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Santo Balesio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Honorato Brion, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. When Serafino Tonio came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the Safarranchos FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Serafino Tonio couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Safarranchos FC booed when Guerrico was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Uriel Precioso didn't get a good kick on the ball. Santo Balesio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Honorato Brion, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 41 minutes, Serafino Tonio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Safarranchos FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Serafino Tonio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 43 minutes into the game, Cristo Hondo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Guerrico's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Safarranchos FC the free kick. In a very dangerous position, a player in Guerrico fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 43rd minute. Penalty! After the first half Safarranchos FC were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

After a rather tough play, Guerrico's Uriel Precioso got a free kick in the 51st minute. In the 52nd minute, Serafino Tonio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 53rd match minute, Guerrico was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcos Cristofol to maneuver through the defense. Serafino Tonio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Serafino Tonio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 62nd minute, Honorato Brion managed to get in a good position for a shot. Safarranchos FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Honorato Brion was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Santo Balesio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Santo Balesio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Serafino Tonio in the 64th minute of the match. Honorato Brion who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 65thth minute tested the skills of Santo Balesio when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Santo Balesio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Serafino Tonio, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Serafino Tonio in the 73rd minute of play forced Guerrico's goalkeeper Santo Balesio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 74th minute, Honorato Brion managed to get in a good position for a shot. Safarranchos FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Honorato Brion was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Santo Balesio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Fernan Vito had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Safarranchos FC's Honorato Brion came free and shot a quick shot against goal 78 minutes in the game, fortunately Santo Balesio had problems saving as it came toward the left post. Lisandro Aires sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Safarranchos FC's zone, Edelmiro Erlantz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Teobaldo Senen came out of the goal and Edelmiro Erlantz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Lisandro Aires sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Honorato Brion in the 91stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Santo Balesio, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Honorato Brion might have been able to make a better finish in the 94th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Santo Balesio. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Honorato Brion ran back to his position shaking his head. Safarranchos FC played a much better game than Guerrico and deserved their victory. The Guerrico players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
