Juventud Rafaela got a freekick which was hit by Ramon Urbasa. When the match clock showed 19 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Leon Licerio sped through C.A. Juventud Rafaela's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Marcelo Locaio. After a defensive mix-up in Club General Guido FC's zone, Albino Txomin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hipolito Lluciano came out of the goal and Albino Txomin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Club General Guido FC booed when C.A. Juventud Rafaela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Haroldo Pere didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in C.A. Juventud Rafaela's zone, Hilario Eduino stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marcelo Locaio came out of the goal and Hilario Eduino tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Leon Licerio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Omar Padro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Hipolito Lluciano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Omar Padro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. A hard shot 48 in the game by Albino Txomin from a close distance when the talented Hipolito Lluciano managed to make a qualified save. Club General Guido FC's players were relieved. The C.A. Juventud Rafaela players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Club General Guido FC were winning 0-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Omar Padro to strike the kick off in the second half. After having played for 52 minutes, Omar Padro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. C.A. Juventud Rafaela's supporters crossed their fingers, but Omar Padro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Albino Txomin came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the C.A. Juventud Rafaela fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Albino Txomin couldn't finish the play. Omar Padro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Hipolito Lluciano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 69th minute, Ramon Urbasa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Leon Licerio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 75 played minutes C.A. Juventud Rafaela got a freekick which was hit by Haroldo Pere. If Hilario Eduino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to C.A. Juventud Rafaela getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Serafino Rodas hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Hilario Eduino managed to get in a good position for a shot. Club General Guido FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Hilario Eduino was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marcelo Locaio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 94 minutes into the match, C.A. Juventud Rafaela's goalkeeper Marcelo Locaio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hilario Eduino. Leon Licerio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
