The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Cristobal Maria recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 15th match minute, Talapampa FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leo Quentin to maneuver through the defense. Silvio Garcia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Hipolito Lluciano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Hilario Eduino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Club General Guido FC defense, Silvio Garcia kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Hipolito Lluciano. The Club General Guido FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hipolito Lluciano should have stopped the shot. After a defensive mix-up in Club General Guido FC's zone, Cristobal Maria stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hipolito Lluciano came out of the goal and Cristobal Maria tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 44th match minute, Club General Guido FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Melchor Cordaro to maneuver through the defense. If Silvio Garcia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Silvio Garcia made a kick off. After 55 minutes, Leo Quentin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Talapampa FC and the Club General Guido FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 55th match minute, Talapampa FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leo Quentin to maneuver through the defense. Hilario Eduino took the ball and in the 61 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Baldomiro Padro. Baldomiro Padro dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Silvio Garcia in the 68th minute of play forced Club General Guido FC's goalkeeper Hipolito Lluciano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leon Licerio in the 74th minute of play forced Talapampa FC's goalkeeper Baldomiro Padro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 78th minute Leon Licerio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Baldomiro Padro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Talapampa FC defense, Leon Licerio kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Baldomiro Padro. The Talapampa FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Baldomiro Padro should have stopped the shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cristobal Maria got free with Hipolito Lluciano in the 91st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. For all the effort they put into the match, the Talapampa FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Club General Guido FC.
