Fidel Rayman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cirilo Montae in the 5th minute of play. 0-1 became the score in the 8th minute when Cirilo Montae elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. If Erasmo Santikurtz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fidel Rayman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cirilo Montae in the 17th minute of the match. Erasmo Santikurtz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cirilo Montae fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fidel Rayman having to interfere. In the 22nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Tumbaya's goalkeeper Fidel Rayman, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A collision led to Tumbaya getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Jesus Columbo hit a great ball. Fidel Rayman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cirilo Montae in the 25th minute of the match. 34 minutes into the match, Tumbaya's goal looked a bit too open when Cirilo Montae came free, but Fidel Rayman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 34 minutes, Ovidio Chinto mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tumbaya and the Rojas players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Tumbaya's Ovidio Chinto got a free kick in the 35th minute. Fidel Rayman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Erasmo Santikurtz in the 36th minute of play. When German Louis came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the Tumbaya fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that German Louis couldn't finish the play. Fidel Rayman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maximino Ascencio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Erasmo Santikurtz made a kick off. If Jesus Columbo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. A collision led to Rojas getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. David Kimetz hit a great ball. The supporters of Rojas booed when Tumbaya was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. German Louis didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ovidio Chinto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Anacleto Rosalio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 66th minute, Jesus Columbo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 82nd play minute Erasmo Santikurtz came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Fidel Rayman. 0-2. In the 87th minute, German Louis made a precise shot to the right of Anacleto Rosalio. Rojas's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. Leon Tohias fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anacleto Rosalio having to interfere. 96 minutes into the match, Rojas's goal looked a bit too open when German Louis came free, but Anacleto Rosalio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Rojas supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Rojas would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
