In the 3rd minute, Gogo Polo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Victoriano Oihenarte was out of position in the 5 minute of play, and Erubiel Belo capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Erubiel Belo really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Guaberto Matthew might have been able to make a better finish in the 8th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Fermin Toro. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Guaberto Matthew ran back to his position shaking his head. If Gogo Polo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Gogo Polo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 19 played minutes Manchester City FC got a freekick which was hit by Artemio Banegas. Fermin Toro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gogo Polo in the 21st minute of the match. With a little luck, Bordenave FC's Victoriano Oihenarte got control of the ball when Justino Ferman tried to sneak it across the goal line. Gogo Polo might have been able to make a better finish in the 33rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Fermin Toro. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gogo Polo ran back to his position shaking his head. After a defensive mix-up in Manchester City FC's zone, Gogo Polo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fermin Toro came out of the goal and Gogo Polo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 37th minute of the game. One of Manchester City FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Bordenave FC:s goal. Fermin Toro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jacinto Arce in the 42nd minute of the match. When the match clock showed 47 minutes, the score became 1-2 when Gogo Polo sped through Manchester City FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Fermin Toro.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Erubiel Belo to strike the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Manchester City FC's zone, Gogo Polo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fermin Toro came out of the goal and Gogo Polo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 64th minute, Gogo Polo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 65th minute, Gogo Polo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bordenave FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Gogo Polo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fermin Toro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Fermin Toro made a fantastic save in the 71st minute, when Gogo Polo sent off a good shot on target. 79 minutes into the game, one of Manchester City FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Fermin Toro had in the 81stth minute some difficulties stopping Ulises Mikeldi's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Guaberto Matthew might have been able to make a better finish in the 88th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Fermin Toro. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Guaberto Matthew ran back to his position shaking his head. 90 minutes into the game, Erubiel Belo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Victoriano Oihenarte was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Bordenave FC's Jacinto Arce pulled a muscle in his back after 92 minutes and couldn't finish the game. After 93 minutes, Justino Ferman mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Manchester City FC and the Bordenave FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Manchester City FC's Justino Ferman got a free kick in the 94th minute. Victoriano Oihenarte showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Erubiel Belo, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. Victoriano Oihenarte showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Simon Jorrin in the 98th minute of the match. Simon Jorrin's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Victoriano Oihenarte read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 99th minute of play. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Bordenave FC players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
