Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Paulino Iruinea started the match with the kick off. Cleto Sugar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Froilan Bernebe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Froilan Bernebe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Francisco Gonzalez, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. Garupá AFC's Gogo Soter played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paulino Iruinea in the 10th minute of play. Jonathan Bazkoare received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Gogo Soter tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Francisco Gonzalez fell near the penalty area in the 14th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Garupá AFC's protests and gave Francisco Gonzalez a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Caluso FC booed when Garupá AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Francisco Gonzalez didn't get a good kick on the ball. Paulino Iruinea fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gogo Soter having to interfere. If Paulino Iruinea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rigoberto Lehen's late challenge caught a Garupá AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rigoberto Lehen helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Garupá AFC booed when Caluso FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rigoberto Lehen didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 27th minute Delmar Orain managed to get in a great position but fired away a sharp shot that went outside the goal on the goalie's right hand side. It could just as well have been a goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Francisco Gonzalez kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Froilan Bernebe. That made the score 1-1 in the 40 minute of play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Francisco Gonzalez stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Caluso FC's goal looked a bit too open when Francisco Gonzalez came free, but Froilan Bernebe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Froilan Bernebe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Francisco Gonzalez, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Jonathan Bazkoare managed to get in a good position for a shot. Caluso FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Jonathan Bazkoare was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gogo Soter breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Froilan Bernebe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Francisco Gonzalez in the 59th minute of the match. The supporters of Caluso FC booed when Garupá AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ricardo Maxin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Caluso FC were awarded a corner in the 64th minute after Garupá AFC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Rigoberto Lehen took the corner. The corner led Caluso FC's Rigoberto Lehen to fire away a dangerous shot which Gogo Soter despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 66th match minute, Garupá AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Everardo Salvidor to maneuver through the defense. After 71 played minutes Caluso FC got a freekick which was hit by Felipe Estevon. Cleto Sugar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Froilan Bernebe having to interfere. Paulino Iruinea sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Garupá AFC's zone, Paulino Iruinea stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gogo Soter came out of the goal and Paulino Iruinea tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Caluso FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
