If Desiderio Tauro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Baldomero Lizbeth struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Santiago Loren didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Alpasinche. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Sixto Bastiaro hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. Alpasinche's Lucio Evis couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for LYL. Arsenio Enekoitz kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. Baldomero Lizbeth fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Santiago Loren having to interfere. The referee gave Cecilio Joseph a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Desiderio Tauro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Delmar Iaki in the 96th minute of play forced Alpasinche's goalkeeper Bruno Aurken to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. LYL's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
