Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Francisco Oidor took the kick off in the first half of the match. Ovidio Herena kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. The nice shot from Mauro Avellaneda in the 6thth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Basilio Baldovino had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. After having played for 9 minutes, Hipolito Froylan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. AC Martinez's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hipolito Froylan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Florentino Nisio came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the AC Martinez fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Florentino Nisio couldn't finish the play. Basilio Baldovino took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Francisco Oidor, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 16th minute Hipolito Froylan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Teodosio Roano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hipolito Froylan in the 18th minute of play forced Guañizul's goalkeeper Teodosio Roano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 21st minute, Francisco Oidor managed to get in a good position for a shot. Guañizul's supporters rose to their feet, but Francisco Oidor was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Basilio Baldovino breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Florentino Nisio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Hipolito Froylan to strike the kick off in the second half. After 58 minutes, Casimiro Abel mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the AC Martinez and the Guañizul players grew even worse after the yellow card. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Donato Remigio during the 60th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 60 played minutes AC Martinez got a freekick which was hit by Donato Remigio. Basilio Baldovino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mauro Avellaneda in the 70th minute of play. Florentino Nisio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Teodosio Roano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hipolito Froylan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Florentino Nisio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
