When Prospero Koldo came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the Barceló fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Prospero Koldo couldn't finish the play. After having played for 21 minutes, Paulo Paublo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Barceló's supporters crossed their fingers, but Paulo Paublo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 23rdth minute of the game Paulo Paublo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Copacabana's Dante Arias was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 24 minutes into the game, Prospero Koldo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Dante Arias was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a rather tough play, Barceló's Paulo Paublo got a free kick in the 31st minute. Anastasio Pelagius sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Serafino Txanton recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 38 minutes, Matias Ler managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Copacabana's supporters crossed their fingers, but Matias Ler was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Anastasio Pelagius sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Basilio Frascuelo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anastasio Pelagius in the 43rd minute of play. If Anastasio Pelagius had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Prospero Koldo to strike the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Barceló booed when Copacabana was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Serafino Txanton didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Prospero Koldo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Basilio Frascuelo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Anastasio Pelagius's shot from short distance in the 62nd minute. After having played for 66 minutes, Paulo Paublo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Barceló's supporters crossed their fingers, but Paulo Paublo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 68th minute, Serafino Txanton left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Copacabana fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 75th minute, Prospero Koldo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Barceló's supporters rose to their feet, but Prospero Koldo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dante Arias breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Barceló's zone, Serafino Txanton stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Basilio Frascuelo came out of the goal and Serafino Txanton tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Basilio Frascuelo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anastasio Pelagius in the 85th minute of the match.
