After having played for 13 minutes, Alfredo Veremundo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Egusquiza FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alfredo Veremundo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alfredo Veremundo in the 30th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Joel Vincent prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 32nd minute, Alfredo Veremundo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Maximiliano Orlondon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joel Vincent having to interfere. If Maximiliano Orlondon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The Midkemia players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Egusquiza FC were winning 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Maximiliano Orlondon was the one to do the kick off. After some careless play in the Midkemia defense, Alfredo Veremundo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Joel Vincent. The Midkemia fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Joel Vincent should have stopped the shot. Alfredo Veremundo got a fine position in front of goal ttaking advantage of the opportunity to rumble in 0-3 in the right cross in the 61st match minute before Joel Vincent had time to react. After 73 played minutes Egusquiza FC got a freekick which was hit by Benjamin Savier. In the 78th minute, Maximiliano Orlondon got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A hard shot 84 in the game by Alfredo Veremundo from a close distance when the talented Joel Vincent managed to make a qualified save. Midkemia's players were relieved. 92 minutes into the match, Midkemia's goal looked a bit too open when Maximiliano Orlondon came free, but Joel Vincent reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Egusquiza FC played a much better game than Midkemia and deserved their victory. The Midkemia players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
