The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Emiliano Gaztea showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jeremias Cucao in the 3rd minute of the match. Orlando Domingues could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 5th minute of the match, but Emiliano Gaztea made a huge save. Enrique Urtzi hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. In the 11th minute, Basilio Mouricio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 12th minute of the match Marcelino Franco shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Bernardo Semeno showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 16 minutes into the match, Colola's goal looked a bit too open when Dante Sal came free, but Bernardo Semeno reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Jonathan Bonifaco fell near the penalty area in the 23rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Algarrobitos's protests and gave Jonathan Bonifaco a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Colola booed when Algarrobitos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jonathan Bonifaco didn't get a good kick on the ball. Colola's Orlando Domingues got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nestor Atauri in the 28th minute of play forced Colola's goalkeeper Bernardo Semeno to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nestor Atauri received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Bernardo Semeno tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nestor Atauri fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bernardo Semeno having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Nestor Atauri managed to get in a good position for a shot. Algarrobitos's supporters rose to their feet, but Nestor Atauri was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bernardo Semeno breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Orlando Domingues came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the Colola fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Orlando Domingues couldn't finish the play. The Colola fans' excitement grew in the 40th match minute when Colola's Orlando Domingues looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. When Godofredo Richie fell near the penalty area in the 43rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Colola's protests and gave Godofredo Richie a yellow card for diving instead. Godofredo Richie kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dante Sal in the 45th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bernardo Semeno prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Dante Sal stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Nestor Atauri's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bernardo Semeno read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 55th minute of play. When Dante Piarres fell near the penalty area in the 56th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Colola's protests and gave Dante Piarres a yellow card for diving instead. After 56 played minutes Colola got a freekick which was hit by Dante Piarres. Emiliano Gaztea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Orlando Domingues in the 68th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Jeremias Cucao's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Emiliano Gaztea was relentless in the 70th minute of the game. Emiliano Gaztea took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jeremias Cucao, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Algarrobitos's Emiliano Gaztea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Orlando Domingues in the 73rd minute of play. In the 74th minute, Jeremias Cucao made a precise shot to the right of Emiliano Gaztea. Algarrobitos's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 83rd minute, Jeremias Cucao managed to get in a good position for a shot. Despite being the better team, Colola failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
