Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Gaudencio Iraunkor made the kick off which started today's match. Botija's Atilano Abeita played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sergio Alfonso in the 7th minute of play. When Sergio Alfonso came up free with the goalie in the 9th minute, the ChiiiChoo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sergio Alfonso couldn't finish the play. In the 17th match minute, ChiiiChoo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aquilino Azubeli to maneuver through the defense. A long shot from Ubaldo Xabel in the 18th minute of play was well struck, but Feliciano Frichoso made a really good save at the right post. Pablo Selatse was extremely unlucky when he, in the 19th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. The supporters of Botija booed when ChiiiChoo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lucio Osmundo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Pablo Selatse sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Pablo Selatse kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Feliciano Frichoso. That made the score 1-1 in the 25 minute of play. Rodrigo Fagildo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Feliciano Frichoso having to make a save. Rodrigo Fagildo might have been able to make a better finish in the 29th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Feliciano Frichoso. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Rodrigo Fagildo ran back to his position shaking his head. Sergio Alfonso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Atilano Abeita having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Angel Tibalt during the 32nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 37 minutes into the match, ChiiiChoo's goalkeeper Feliciano Frichoso had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rodrigo Fagildo. A collision led to ChiiiChoo getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Gonzalo Hechter hit a great ball. Feliciano Frichoso made a fantastic save in the 49th minute, when Rodrigo Fagildo sent off a good shot on target. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Pablo Selatse to strike the kick off in the second half. Rodrigo Fagildo scored 2-1 in the 54th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Feliciano Frichoso, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Sergio Alfonso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Botija's attack was well implemented in the 60th minute, but when Pablo Selatse was about to shoot he didn't get a good hit on the ball and it hit the crossbar and flew over. After some fancy dribbling in the 64th minute, Gaudencio Iraunkor managed to get in a good position for a shot. Atilano Abeita breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Thanks to some nice moves Sergio Alfonso could shoot a difficult shot in the 66th minute, which Atilano Abeita however easily saved by the left post. In the 67th minute, Botija's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Sergio Alfonso fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 69th minute, Aquilino Azubeli got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Sergio Alfonso came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the ChiiiChoo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sergio Alfonso couldn't finish the play. The referee showed Honorato Maule the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 89 played minutes Botija got a freekick which was hit by Honorato Maule. Pablo Selatse received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Feliciano Frichoso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Botija's supporters rose to their feet, but Pablo Selatse was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Feliciano Frichoso breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. ChiiiChoo's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
