Dionisio Toribio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Armando Criston, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. 25 minutes into the match, Reds Warriors's goalkeeper Mauricio Lizbeth had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gervasio Quintyn. After having played for 30 minutes, Gavino Ponciano managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Reds Warriors's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gavino Ponciano was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Dionisio Toribio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Armando Criston in the 33rd minute of the match. Mauricio Lizbeth showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roberto Hermelando in the 36th minute of the match. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Roberto Hermelando was the one to do the kick off. In the 59th match minute, Rocha FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gervasio Quintyn to maneuver through the defense. After 64 played minutes Rocha FC got a freekick which was hit by Eusebio Fortun. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roberto Hermelando in the 70th minute of play forced Reds Warriors's goalkeeper Mauricio Lizbeth to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 76th minute, Armando Criston ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dionisio Toribio was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. After 80 minutes, Zeledon Bide mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Reds Warriors and the Rocha FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 80th minute, Zeledon Bide hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Roberto Hermelando in the 83rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mauricio Lizbeth prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Armando Criston in the 87th minute of play forced Rocha FC's goalkeeper Dionisio Toribio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mauricio Lizbeth showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roberto Hermelando in the 89th minute of the match. After taking down the ball on Rocha FC's corner Sebastian Ursino fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Mauricio Lizbeth quite easily take care of the ball. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Reds Warriors walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
