After 3 played minutes Hidalgo FC got a freekick which was hit by Ruperto Uzuri. Eliseo Raymon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bernardino Berriotxoa having to interfere. Damaso Inko kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. Damaso Inko was shown his second yellow card after 11 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. A collision led to Faver FC getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Damaso Inko hit a great ball. After recieving a nice pass, Hidalgo FC's Melquiades Aguilera tried to score from far away in the 13th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. 15 minutes into the match, Hidalgo FC's goalkeeper Amadeo Rios had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jeronimo Osasun. The supporters of Faver FC booed when Hidalgo FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anibal Otoniel didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 16th minute, Jeronimo Osasun got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Salvador Henric's late challenge caught a Faver FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Salvador Henric helped the player get up and apologised. In the 22nd minute, Jeronimo Osasun made a precise shot to the right of Amadeo Rios. Hidalgo FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. If Eliseo Raymon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Bernardino Berriotxoa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ruperto Uzuri in the 35th minute of play. If Eliseo Raymon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 40 minutes into the match, Faver FC's goal looked a bit too open when Eliseo Raymon came free, but Bernardino Berriotxoa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ruperto Uzuri struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Bernardino Berriotxoa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hidalgo FC. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Eliseo Raymon made a kick off. In the 52nd minute Eliseo Raymon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bernardino Berriotxoa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eliseo Raymon struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. Bernardino Berriotxoa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hidalgo FC. Hidalgo FC's Ruperto Uzuri got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Eliseo Raymon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Bernardino Berriotxoa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bernardino Berriotxoa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mariano Fliz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 65th minute, Eliseo Raymon ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bernardino Berriotxoa was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. 69 minutes into the game, Faver FC's Jeronimo Osasun nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Amadeo Rios made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. Ladislao Fiz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Amadeo Rios tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Adolfo Egoitz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a rather tough play, Faver FC's Amador Mede got a free kick in the 78th minute. Ruperto Uzuri could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 80th minute of the match, but Bernardino Berriotxoa made a huge save. When Eliseo Raymon came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the Hidalgo FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eliseo Raymon couldn't finish the play. Ruperto Uzuri received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Bernardino Berriotxoa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eliseo Raymon in the 85th minute of play forced Faver FC's goalkeeper Bernardino Berriotxoa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 87 minutes into the match, Faver FC's goal looked a bit too open when Eliseo Raymon came free, but Bernardino Berriotxoa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 90th minute, Mariano Fliz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, Norberto Elivareo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Faver FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Norberto Elivareo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Amadeo Rios breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Jeronimo Osasun had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 94th minute, Alejandro Panpili hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Faver FC's Adolfo Egoitz got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Faver FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Hidalgo FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
