In the 12th minute Aaron Arias shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Florentino Cefero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Piquirenda AFC booed when Montoya AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jeremias Rivero didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Aaron Arias had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jesus Ralondo kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. 31 minutes into the game, Ovidio Jerrald cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Florentino Cefero was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A collision led to Piquirenda AFC getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Maximiliano Rico hit a great ball. Felipe Caetano was out of position in the 36 minute of play, and Nunez Abar capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Nunez Abar really showed his touch with that goal: 1-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Nunez Abar stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Florentino Cefero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aaron Arias in the 52nd minute of the match. In the 54th minute Nunez Abar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Felipe Caetano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nunez Abar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 58 played minutes Montoya AFC got a freekick which was hit by Jesus Ralondo. Carmelo Gonzalez charged in rather forcefully in the 60th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Carmelo Gonzalez the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Montoya AFC getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Carmelo Gonzalez hit a great ball. Benito Beltran, 61 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. When the match had gone on for 63 minutes, Aaron Arias took a quick shot and it went in 1-3 without a chance for Florentino Cefero to make any attempt to save it. In the 70th minute, Nunez Abar made a precise shot to the right of Felipe Caetano. Piquirenda AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-3. In the 82nd minute, Nunez Abar got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Carmelo Gonzalez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Piquirenda AFC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
