Sharis F.C's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Domínguez FC the free kick. The supporters of Domínguez FC booed when Sharis F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arnulfo Porfiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. 11 minutes into the match, Domínguez FC's Evelio Montay sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Eloy Obeko narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Evelio Montay sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ruben Cidro in the 39th minute of play forced Sharis F.C's goalkeeper Eloy Obeko to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match had gone on for 41 minutes, Ruben Cidro took a quick shot and it went in 3-0 without a chance for Eloy Obeko to make any attempt to save it. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Ambrosio Tebaldo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sharis F.C's supporters rose to their feet, but Ambrosio Tebaldo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Paulo Licerio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ruben Cidro stepped up to make the kick off in the second half.
