Santiago Roldanillo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Joaquin Martxot showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Blas Tello, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. Tusaquilla AFC's Joaquin Martxot played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Blas Tello in the 11th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Tusaquilla AFC's zone, Santiago Roldanillo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Joaquin Martxot came out of the goal and Santiago Roldanillo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Blas Tello had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 17th minute, Aaron Stephen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Joaquin Martxot didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 20th minute, which inside left pole to 1-0. After a rather tough play, Tusaquilla AFC's Natalio Calvet got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Basilio Patrido took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 24th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Joaquin Martxot. Tusaquilla AFC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After 33 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Tusaquilla AFC! Basilio Patrido shot the penalty kick right outside the post. Elvio Henrico came out of the goal in the 36th minute to try and stop a shot by Tusaquilla AFC's Ladislao Errolan. But to his dismay, Ladislao Errolan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. After 40 minutes, Aaron Stephen mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Perchel and the Tusaquilla AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 40 played minutes Perchel got a freekick which was hit by Aaron Stephen. 44 minutes into the game, Natalio Calvet was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Tusaquilla AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Perchel the free kick. In the 44th match minute, Tusaquilla AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Natalio Calvet to maneuver through the defense. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

In the 52ndth minute of the game Blas Tello who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Tusaquilla AFC's Joaquin Martxot was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Blas Tello struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Joaquin Martxot didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Perchel. In the 58th minute Santiago Roldanillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joaquin Martxot saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pablo Iraido struck a weak shot in the 60th minute. Elvio Henrico didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tusaquilla AFC. In the 65th minute, Natalio Calvet got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ladislao Errolan charged in rather forcefully in the 81st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ladislao Errolan the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 82nd match minute, Tusaquilla AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ladislao Errolan to maneuver through the defense. Basilio Patrido was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 82nd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Natalio Calvet got free with Elvio Henrico in the 84th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 88th minute, one of Tusaquilla AFC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Tusaquilla AFC. The referee gave Perchel a penalty, 90 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Basilio Patrido, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Tusaquilla AFC's Joaquin Martxot. 3-1. Blas Tello fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 99th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joaquin Martxot having to interfere. Tusaquilla AFC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
