Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Angelo Gitano got the match started through his kick off. In the 3rd minute, Ezequiel Vito left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Maquito fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. After 11 minutes, Angelo Gitano made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. Portezuelo FC's Cornelio Loramendi tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Cornelio Loramendi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Erasmo Cordero, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. Erasmo Cordero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cornelio Loramendi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ezequiel Vito in the 21st minute of the match. If Celestino Hibai had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Angelo Gitano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 42nd match minute, Maquito was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Celestino Hibai to maneuver through the defense. When Remigio Rocio fell near the penalty area in the 45th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Portezuelo FC's protests and gave Remigio Rocio a yellow card for diving instead. In the 45th minute, Remigio Rocio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ezequiel Vito struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. Cornelio Loramendi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Maquito. After the first half Maquito were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Marciano Valentine made a kick off. Ezequiel Vito received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Cornelio Loramendi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Erasmo Cordero got free with Cornelio Loramendi in the 55th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Zacarias Feliu hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. In the 59th minute of the match Baltasar Balasi sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Cornelio Loramendi skillfully saved the ball. The supporters of Maquito booed when Portezuelo FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edgard Mosen didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cornelio Loramendi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Angelo Gitano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ezequiel Vito in the 68thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Cornelio Loramendi, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After a defensive mix-up in Portezuelo FC's zone, Angelo Gitano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cornelio Loramendi came out of the goal and Angelo Gitano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 86 played minutes Maquito got a freekick which was hit by Celestino Hibai. When Fausto Gartzi fell near the penalty area in the 92nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Portezuelo FC's protests and gave Fausto Gartzi a yellow card for diving instead. Fausto Gartzi hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. Maquito's Baltasar Balasi couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Portezuelo FC. If Ezequiel Vito had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
