Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Daniel Ruy took the kick off in the first half of the match. Tobias Bento showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mauro Etxeberri in the 3rd minute of the match. A collision led to Pedernal getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Esteve Mikelats hit a great ball. In the 15th minute Daniel Ruy shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Valentin Gudesteo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Pozuelos AFC's Emilio Henrico got a free kick in the 16th minute. Denis Bitxintxo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alfonso Reynardo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Tobias Bento tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Pozuelos AFC's zone, Denis Bitxintxo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Valentin Gudesteo came out of the goal and Denis Bitxintxo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Denis Bitxintxo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tobias Bento made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mauro Etxeberri in the 41st minute of play. In the 41st minute, Mauro Etxeberri made a precise shot to the right of Tobias Bento. Pedernal's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. 48 minutes into the match, Pedernal's goal looked a bit too open when Clodoveo Lorenz came free, but Tobias Bento reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Mauro Etxeberri to make the kick off. Denis Bitxintxo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Valentin Gudesteo having to interfere. If Daniel Ruy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tobias Bento stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mauro Etxeberri's shot from short distance in the 68th minute. Mauro Etxeberri's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tobias Bento read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 71st minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mauro Etxeberri in the 79th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tobias Bento saved Pedernal from getting behind. 82 minutes into the match, Pedernal's Daniel Ruy sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Valentin Gudesteo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Denis Bitxintxo struck a weak shot in the 83rd minute. Valentin Gudesteo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pedernal. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Daniel Ruy managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pedernal's supporters rose to their feet, but Daniel Ruy was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Valentin Gudesteo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Denis Bitxintxo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Pozuelos AFC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
