In the 5th minute the ball was on its way in behind Mogote's goalkeeper Eulalio Ricart, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alfonso Reynardo got free with Eulalio Ricart in the 7th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Mauro Etxeberri fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eulalio Ricart having to interfere. Valentin Gudesteo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gerardo Manilan in the 14th minute of play. 17 minutes into the game, Marciano Costante cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Valentin Gudesteo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Mauro Etxeberri fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eulalio Ricart having to interfere. Eulalio Ricart was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Mauro Etxeberri showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 24 minute of play. In the 27th minute Mauro Etxeberri shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eulalio Ricart saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With his leg Eulalio Ricart managed to avoid a goal in the 29thth minute, when Pozuelos AFC's Alfonso Reynardo fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The crowd rose to their feet as Pozuelos AFC's Mauro Etxeberri slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Eulalio Ricart. That made the score 2-1 after 35 minutes of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Marciano Costante stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the game, Ceferino Felo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Mogote's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pozuelos AFC the free kick. After a rather tough play, Mogote's Ceferino Felo got a free kick in the 54th minute. In the 56th minute Alfonso Reynardo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eulalio Ricart saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marciano Costante fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Valentin Gudesteo having to interfere. Mauro Etxeberri fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eulalio Ricart having to interfere. Alfonso Reynardo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mauro Etxeberri in the 90th minute of play forced Mogote's goalkeeper Eulalio Ricart to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 90th minute, Mauro Etxeberri made a precise shot to the right of Eulalio Ricart. Mogote's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-1. If Emilio Henrico had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pozuelos AFC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
