Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Leon Raymond in the 4th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Armando Johans prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, Tiomayo FC's Fausto Firmin got a free kick in the 7th minute. After 8 played minutes, Corzuela AFC's Alonzo Elizardo shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Armando Johans came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Corzuela AFC reached it. Lino Salvatore might have been able to make a better finish in the 9th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Armando Johans. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Lino Salvatore ran back to his position shaking his head. Leon Raymond's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Armando Johans read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 12th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, Saverio Abaunza managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tiomayo FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Saverio Abaunza was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Edgardo Ponce breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Tiomayo FC getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Hilario Dalmau hit a great ball. Alonzo Elizardo took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 19th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Armando Johans. Tiomayo FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After 22 played minutes Corzuela AFC got a freekick which was hit by Hector Adrio. After a defensive mix-up in Corzuela AFC's zone, Benjamin Gregory stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Edgardo Ponce came out of the goal and Benjamin Gregory tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 26th minute Benjamin Gregory shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edgardo Ponce saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Benjamin Gregory received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Edgardo Ponce tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 29th minute of the match Alvaro Ordono shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Edgardo Ponce showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Edgardo Ponce made an important save on a dangerous shot by Saverio Abaunza in the 32nd minute. Leon Raymond fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Armando Johans having to interfere. Saverio Abaunza might have been able to make a better finish in the 39th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Edgardo Ponce. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Saverio Abaunza ran back to his position shaking his head. After 42 played minutes Tiomayo FC got a freekick which was hit by Eusebio Lorenz. Tiomayo FC's Armando Johans played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leon Raymond in the 46th minute of play. The supporters of Tiomayo FC booed when Corzuela AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lino Salvatore didn't get a good kick on the ball.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Lino Salvatore was the one to do the kick off. If Saverio Abaunza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Leon Raymond sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Armando Johans didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Corzuela AFC's Leon Raymond shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-1 in the ordered_time% minute. Benjamin Gregory received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Edgardo Ponce tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 70th match minute, Tiomayo FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jacobo Beremundo to maneuver through the defense. 71 minutes into the match, Corzuela AFC's Alonzo Elizardo broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide.
