THE WAILERS's Clodoveo Ezkerra got a good chance for a goal in the 5th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Teo Ledesma made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Armando Rayman in the 9th minute of play. In the 10th match minute, Miranda AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Guaberto Fernanco to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Miranda AFC's zone, Armando Rayman stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Teo Ledesma came out of the goal and Armando Rayman tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 21 played minutes THE WAILERS got a freekick which was hit by Celestino Muc. After some careless play in the THE WAILERS defense, Erasmo Esquipula kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Julian Orlo. The THE WAILERS fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Julian Orlo should have stopped the shot. Godfredo Montrelle sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 29 minutes into the game, Godfredo Montrelle cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Julian Orlo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Erasmo Esquipula recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 34 minutes, Baldomiro Jaen mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the THE WAILERS and the Miranda AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Erasmo Esquipula's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Julian Orlo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 36th minute of play. When Erasmo Esquipula came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the Miranda AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Erasmo Esquipula couldn't finish the play. Clodoveo Ezkerra's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Teo Ledesma firmly grabbed it by the left post. The THE WAILERS players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Miranda AFC were winning 0-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Godfredo Montrelle stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Godfredo Montrelle fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julian Orlo having to interfere. Godfredo Montrelle received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Julian Orlo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Guaberto Fernanco fell near the penalty area in the 59th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Miranda AFC's protests and gave Guaberto Fernanco a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of THE WAILERS booed when Miranda AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Guaberto Fernanco didn't get a good kick on the ball. Erasmo Esquipulas short, quick shot in the 72ndth minute got Julian Orlo to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Julian Orlo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Erasmo Esquipula went, in the 77th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. In the 82nd minute, Ezequiel Piarres hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 83 minutes into the match, THE WAILERS's Damian Sabino broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Erasmo Esquipula sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The THE WAILERS fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Miranda AFC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
