In the 6th minute of the match Guaberto Obano shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Nicolas Ordono showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 6 minutes into the game, Bartolo Jacindo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Napostá FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cerrillos FC the free kick. A collision led to Napostá FC getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Bartolo Jacindo hit a great ball. In the 8th minute, Luis Gudesteo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 10th minute, Bartolo Jacindo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nicolas Ordono made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luis Gudesteo in the 11th minute of play. 15 minutes into the match, Napostá FC's goalkeeper Nicolas Ordono had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Reynaldo Dalmau. 24 minutes into the match, Napostá FC's goalkeeper Nicolas Ordono had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Reynaldo Dalmau. The referee ignored Napostá FC's protests and gave Hilario Sadurni a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Cerrillos FC booed when Napostá FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hilario Sadurni didn't get a good kick on the ball.

The wind increased when Luis Gudesteo made the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Napostá FC's zone, Edgard Reynardo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nicolas Ordono came out of the goal and Edgard Reynardo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Nicolas Ordono stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Luis Gudesteo's shot from short distance in the 56th minute. Luis Gudesteo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Nicolas Ordono tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nicolas Ordono showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Reynaldo Dalmau, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. After having played for 66 minutes, Reynaldo Dalmau managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cerrillos FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Reynaldo Dalmau was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Luis Gudesteo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nicolas Ordono having to interfere. Reynaldo Dalmau sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Reynaldo Dalmau received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Nicolas Ordono tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nicolas Ordono showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luis Gudesteo in the 78th minute of the match. A collision led to Napostá FC getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Nicolas Ordono showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Reynaldo Dalmau in the 85th minute of the match. Nicolas Ordono took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luis Gudesteo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Cerrillos FC players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
