Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. The referee ignored Cerrillos FC's protests and gave Fernando Palos a yellow card for diving instead. Fernando Palos kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. Ceferino Sanson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 21st minute of the match, but Apolo Hechter made a huge save. Luis Gudesteo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Isidoro Innocenzio having to interfere. In the 25th minute Luis Gudesteo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Isidoro Innocenzio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 26 minutes into the match, Vélez Sarsfield's goal looked a bit too open when Luis Gudesteo came free, but Isidoro Innocenzio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Vélez Sarsfield's Apolo Cisco got a free kick in the 27th minute. Cerrillos FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 33rd minute, when Arsenio Marin scored to the left of an out of position Apolo Hechter, making the score, 1-1. Reynaldo Dalmau sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Isidoro Innocenzio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luis Gudesteo in the 43rd minute of the match. Edgard Reynardo kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Luis Gudesteo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Through an outstanding action, after 52 minutes, Isidoro Innocenzio successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 54th minute, Luis Gudesteo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Vélez Sarsfield's Isidoro Innocenzio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 56th minute of the match, managed to save Vélez Sarsfield from getting a goal against them. 57 minutes into the match, Arsenio Marin had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Apolo Hechter. Luis Gudesteo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Isidoro Innocenzio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luis Gudesteo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Isidoro Innocenzio having to make a save. 70 minutes into the game, Apolo Cisco was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Vélez Sarsfield's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cerrillos FC the free kick. In the 70th minute, Apolo Cisco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Reynaldo Dalmau came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the Cerrillos FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Reynaldo Dalmau couldn't finish the play. If Luis Gudesteo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Cerrillos FC's Higinio Oidor got a free kick in the 75th minute. When the referee blew the final whistle, Vélez Sarsfield could leave the field as winners, despite Cerrillos FC having more of the ball for most of the match.
