The referee showed Baldomero Arano the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. If Nicanor Macias had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nicanor Macias's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Victorino Distiratsu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 11th minute of play. 12 minutes into the match, Nicanor Macias had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Victorino Distiratsu. Condoritos's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Nicanor Macias was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Condoritos's Victorino Distiratsu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nicanor Macias in the 16th minute of play. Nicanor Macias took the ball and in the 18 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Victorino Distiratsu. Victorino Distiratsu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. After 21 minutes, Rafael Jenaro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Hormiguero AFC and the Condoritos players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 22nd minute, Rafael Jenaro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Everardo Fidencio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Victorino Distiratsu having to interfere. Nicanor Macias received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Victorino Distiratsu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Hormiguero AFC's Romulo Malvin in the 30th minute got a chance for a shot 30th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Condoritos's goalie prevented a goal. After some careless play in the Condoritos defense, Nicanor Macias kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Victorino Distiratsu. The Condoritos fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Victorino Distiratsu should have stopped the shot. Victorino Distiratsu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nicanor Macias, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
The wind increased when Nicanor Macias made the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Romulo Malvin ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Victorino Distiratsu was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. Victorino Distiratsu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nicanor Macias in the 55th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Romulo Malvin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hormiguero AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Romulo Malvin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Victorino Distiratsu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Victorino Distiratsu made a fantastic save in the 58th minute, when Romulo Malvin sent off a good shot on target. 60 minutes into the game, Rafael Jenaro cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-5. Victorino Distiratsu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Nicanor Macias had several of the Condoritos's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 64 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-6 score and a disappointed Victorino Distiratsu as he didn't even see the shot coming. Nicanor Macias sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Condoritos's Victorino Distiratsu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 71st minute of the match, managed to save Condoritos from getting a goal against them. If Nicanor Macias had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nicanor Macias in the 76th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Victorino Distiratsu saved Condoritos from getting behind. Romulo Malvin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 81st minute Nicanor Macias shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Victorino Distiratsu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Romulo Malvin got free with Victorino Distiratsu in the 85th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Condoritos's Victorino Distiratsu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 88th minute of the match, managed to save Condoritos from getting a goal against them. Pastor Maldonado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Baldomero Arano in the 93rd minute of play. When German Lehoi came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the Condoritos fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that German Lehoi couldn't finish the play. In the 96th match minute, Hormiguero AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rafael Jenaro to maneuver through the defense. The Condoritos fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Hormiguero AFC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
