E.A Sports's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cochrane the free kick. A collision led to E.A Sports getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Ubaldo Modestio hit a great ball. Cochrane's Natalio Orti couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 12th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for E.A Sports. Ezequiel Joachim fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Godofredo Caetano having to interfere. In the 22nd minute the ball was on its way in behind E.A Sports's goalkeeper Godofredo Caetano, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Julian Sabino hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. Patricio Tolino's late challenge caught a Cochrane's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. Cochrane's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ezequiel Joachim was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The wind increased when Ricardo Sancho made the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute Ricardo Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Epifanio Vimaro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. E.A Sports's Godofredo Caetano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joel Sayvion in the 69th minute of play. During the 71st minute of the match Patricio Tolino completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Patricio Tolino a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Cochrane's Ezequiel Joachim got a good chance for a goal in the 73rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in E.A Sports's zone, Ezequiel Joachim stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Godofredo Caetano came out of the goal and Ezequiel Joachim tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cochrane's Ezequiel Joachim got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 79th minute, E.A Sports's Albano Gaitano ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Epifanio Vimaro. Epifanio Vimaro yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-2. Godofredo Caetano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joel Sayvion, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cochrane's Ezequiel Joachim got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Cochrane's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ezequiel Joachim was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. E.A Sports were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Cochrane's much stronger midfield.
