Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Cienaguita's Niceto Jatsu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 6th minute of the match, managed to save Cienaguita from getting a goal against them. The supporters of Huinganco AFC booed when Cienaguita was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roque Larpe didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cienaguita's Niceto Jatsu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paulino Lano in the 8th minute of play. Niceto Jatsu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Paulino Lano's shot from short distance in the 12th minute. Uriel Sedeni fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Freddy Marcones having to interfere. Carolo Rico kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. 23 minutes into the game, Uriel Sedeni cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Freddy Marcones was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Saul Goiz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. With an all-out effort, Huinganco AFC's Niceto Jatsu threw himself towards the right post 40 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Paulino Lano, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Carolo Rico sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Saul Goiz got free with Niceto Jatsu in the 43rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.
