Honorato Senio struck a weak shot in the 3rd minute. Delmiro Ubelteso didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Chorrillos. Bruno Hechter took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 7th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Delmiro Ubelteso. Anjuli's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The supporters of Chorrillos booed when Anjuli was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jonatan Mannuel didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Fidel Meder came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the Chorrillos fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fidel Meder couldn't finish the play. Silvano Chorache hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. The supporters of Chorrillos booed when Anjuli was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adolfo Lapurdi didn't get a good kick on the ball. 21 minutes into the game, Celedonio Elizardo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Chorrillos's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Anjuli the free kick. After 22 played minutes Chorrillos got a freekick which was hit by Celedonio Elizardo. Romeo Seme showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arnoldo Lope in the 23rd minute of the match. 24 minutes into the match, Chorrillos's goalkeeper Romeo Seme had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Roman Urbes. Chorrillos's Haroldo Hibai got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Roman Urbes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Roman Urbes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 35th minute of the match, but Romeo Seme made a huge save. When Anjuli's Arnoldo Lope in the 43rd minute got a chance for a shot 43rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Chorrillos's goalie prevented a goal. Arnoldo Lope sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Haroldo Hibai made a kick off. The supporters of Chorrillos booed when Anjuli was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gilberto Goiz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Delmiro Ubelteso acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 62nd minute, took the ball on the long shot from Fidel Meder. Roman Urbes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Romeo Seme tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the Anjuli defense, Haroldo Hibai kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Delmiro Ubelteso. The Anjuli fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Delmiro Ubelteso should have stopped the shot. When Arnoldo Lope came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the Anjuli fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Arnoldo Lope couldn't finish the play. In the 82nd minute Arnoldo Lope shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Romeo Seme saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Honorato Senio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Anjuli's Delmiro Ubelteso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Haroldo Hibai in the 86th minute of play. Delmiro Ubelteso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Haroldo Hibai, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Roman Urbes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
