The supporters of Gavilán FC booed when Soldini was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Honorato Poncio didn't get a good kick on the ball. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Abel Behe made the kick off in the second half. After 51 minutes, Emiliano Astudillo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Soldini and the Gavilán FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 51 played minutes Soldini got a freekick which was hit by Emiliano Astudillo. After a defensive mix-up in Gavilán FC's zone, Honorato Poncio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Severiano Ilixo came out of the goal and Honorato Poncio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Virgilio Urki showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hermengildo Llorienzo in the 63rd minute of the match. Severo Iliana was extremely unlucky when he, in the 67th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. When Ovidio Garin fell near the penalty area in the 68th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Gavilán FC's protests and gave Ovidio Garin a yellow card for diving instead. In the 68th minute, Ovidio Garin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Honorato Poncio who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 72ndth minute tested the skills of Severiano Ilixo when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 74th minute, Hermengildo Llorienzo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Virgilio Urki was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Severiano Ilixo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Severo Iliana in the 78th minute of the match. In the 79th minute, Honorato Poncio reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Severiano Ilixo. The goal made the score 1-3. If Abel Behe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 86 minutes, Honorato Poncio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. One of Gavilán FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Soldini:s goal. Honorato Poncio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Severiano Ilixo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A very good chance. 99 minutes into the match, Soldini's goal looked a bit too open when Abel Behe came free, but Virgilio Urki reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Soldini's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
