If Jacinto Hats had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cayetano Dominguez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jacinto Hats in the 20th minute of play. Fernando Gagriel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eriberto Pabla in the 23rd minute of the match. With 28 minutes on the clock, Arnaldo Maura commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Toscas fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 27th minute. Penalty! 35 minutes into the match, Gilberto Pueblo notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Ham FC's Cayetano Dominguez. Cayetano Dominguez was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Toscas's Fernando Gagriel proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 40th minute of the match, managed to save Toscas from getting a goal against them. When Gilberto Pueblo came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the Toscas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gilberto Pueblo couldn't finish the play. Fernando Gagriel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eriberto Pabla, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. With a little luck, Toscas's Fernando Gagriel got control of the ball when Rigoberto Aurre tried to sneak it across the goal line.

Toscas's Gilberto Pueblo got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Cayetano Dominguez made a fantastic save in the 54th minute, when Gilberto Pueblo sent off a good shot on target. In the 54th minute, Severiano Peruxu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fernando Gagriel came out of the goal in the 57th minute to try and stop a shot by Ham FC's Eriberto Pabla. But to his dismay, Eriberto Pabla quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Fernando Gagriel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eriberto Pabla in the 64th minute of play. In the 68th minute Rigoberto Aurre shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fernando Gagriel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fernando Gagriel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eriberto Pabla, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. 73 minutes into the match, Rigoberto Aurre had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Fernando Gagriel. Toscas's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rigoberto Aurre was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. Rigoberto Aurre sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Fernando Gagriel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eriberto Pabla, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Constantino Chesus hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. Gilberto Pueblo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Florentino Azubeli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Ham FC players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
