Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Jaime Selmo started the match with the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 4th minute, Gaudencio Amor managed to get in a good position for a shot. Club Atlético River Plate's supporters rose to their feet, but Gaudencio Amor was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Roberto Xabier breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Dante Quintana sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 9th minute, Feliberto Berasko hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 12 minutes, Dante Quintana managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lobería's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dante Quintana was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 14th minute, Dante Quintana got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 16th minute, Lobería's Dante Quintana dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. If Dante Quintana had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 24th minute Dante Quintana shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Melquiades Donio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Melquiades Donio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dante Quintana in the 27th minute of play. Isaac Mincho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 30 minutes into the match, Club Atlético River Plate's goal looked a bit too open when Dante Quintana came free, but Melquiades Donio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Melquiades Donio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dante Quintana in the 42nd minute of play. The supporters of Club Atlético River Plate booed when Lobería was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mauro Ilazki didn't get a good kick on the ball.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Dante Quintana was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Teo Jenaro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lobería's Roberto Xabier proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 69th minute of the match, managed to save Lobería from getting a goal against them. Jaime Selmo struck a weak shot in the 72nd minute. Roberto Xabier didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Club Atlético River Plate. Gaudencio Amor could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 74th minute of the match, but Roberto Xabier made a huge save. Mauro Ilazki kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. In the 75th minute Jaime Selmo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roberto Xabier saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Roberto Xabier was a little too slow when Jaime Selmo got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 78th minute. The score was now 1-3. If Gaudencio Amor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 97th minute the ball was on its way in behind Club Atlético River Plate's goalkeeper Melquiades Donio, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Club Atlético River Plate had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
