Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Encrucijada AFC's Haroldo Inocente started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Evaristo Rik fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Epifanio Cordaro having to interfere. Haroldo Inocente recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Evaristo Rik sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd rose to their feet as Eugenio Sal kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Gilberto Ibar. That made the score 1-0 in the 17 minute of play. After 24 minutes of play, Bernasconi's Evaristo Rik made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Epifanio Cordaro was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Evaristo Rik came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the Bernasconi fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Evaristo Rik couldn't finish the play. Evaristo Rik sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Evaristo Rik received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Epifanio Cordaro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alonzo Chinto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Gilberto Ibar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eugenio Sal in the 61st minute of the match. After 65 played minutes Evaristo Rik rounded Encrucijada AFC's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-2. After 69 minutes Encrucijada AFC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Benedicto Inautzi who took care of the corner kick. Benedicto Inautzi made a great header on Bernasconi's corner, it was just that Encrucijada AFC's Epifanio Cordaro managed to reach the ball for a save. Epifanio Cordaro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Evaristo Rik in the 71st minute of play. Epifanio Cordaro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Evaristo Rik, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. If Eugenio Sal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Haroldo Inocente received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Gilberto Ibar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. It was beautiful to see Encrucijada AFC's Eugenio Sal in action when he in the 91st minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! Evaristo Rik didn't quite understand what happened when in the 94 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. Evaristo Rik received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Epifanio Cordaro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bernasconi played a much better game than Encrucijada AFC and deserved their victory. The Encrucijada AFC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
