An unexpectedly hard shot by Ignacio Eskuin in the 33rd minute of play forced Encrucijada AFC's goalkeeper Epifanio Cordaro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Merayo's Ignacio Eskuin slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Epifanio Cordaro. That made the score 1-0 after 43 minutes of play. In the 47th minute, Ignacio Eskuin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Cornelio Pinto kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. In the 53rd minute, Americo Presebal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Epifanio Cordaro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ignacio Eskuin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Epifanio Cordaro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ignacio Eskuin in the 63rd minute of the match. Epifanio Kaxen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Epifanio Cordaro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Epifanio Kaxen's shot from short distance in the 73rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Epifanio Kaxen in the 74th minute of play forced Encrucijada AFC's goalkeeper Epifanio Cordaro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Epifanio Cordaro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ignacio Eskuin in the 76th minute of play. If Gerardo Gaueko had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 79 minutes, Ignacio Eskuin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Merayo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ignacio Eskuin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aaron Bermudez in the 82nd minute of play forced Encrucijada AFC's goalkeeper Epifanio Cordaro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Epifanio Kaxen scored 2-0 in the 83rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Epifanio Cordaro, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When Epifanio Kaxen came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the Merayo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Epifanio Kaxen couldn't finish the play. If Ignacio Eskuin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 94th minute Ignacio Eskuin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Epifanio Cordaro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Epifanio Kaxen in the 97th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Epifanio Cordaro saved Encrucijada AFC from getting behind. Merayo walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
