If Gervasio Sarracino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Tamangueyú's zone, Tiburcio Gerazan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Braulio Chan came out of the goal and Tiburcio Gerazan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Tamangueyú's Marco Montxo got a free kick in the 10th minute. If Tiburcio Gerazan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Segundo Osmundo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nemesio Innocenzio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 22 minutes into the game, Isidoro Aznaro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Martínez's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Tamangueyú the free kick. A collision led to Martínez getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Isidoro Aznaro hit a great ball. Nemesio Innocenzio took the ball and in the 23 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Segundo Osmundo. Segundo Osmundo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. The audience was convinced that Nemesio Innocenzio's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Segundo Osmundo was relentless in the 29th minute of the game. 30 minutes into the game, Uriel Leobardo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Martínez's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Tamangueyú the free kick. In the 30th match minute, Martínez was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Uriel Leobardo to maneuver through the defense. Braulio Chan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tiburcio Gerazan, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. Tamangueyú's Nemesio Innocenzio got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gervasio Sarracino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Aaron Pio fell near the penalty area in the 41st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tamangueyú's protests and gave Aaron Pio a yellow card for diving instead. After 41 played minutes Tamangueyú got a freekick which was hit by Aaron Pio. After recieving a nice pass, Martínez's Nunez Quintyn tried to score from far away in the 42nd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Segundo Osmundo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gervasio Sarracino, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. Braulio Chan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tiburcio Gerazan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Tamangueyú's Braulio Chan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tiburcio Gerazan in the 56th minute of play. After 62 played minutes Martínez got a freekick which was hit by Nunez Quintyn. 74 minutes into the match, Martínez's goalkeeper Segundo Osmundo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nemesio Innocenzio. Braulio Chan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tiburcio Gerazan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 85 minutes into the match, Martínez's Eusebio Isadore sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Braulio Chan narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Segundo Osmundo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gervasio Sarracino, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. Americo Barros charged in rather forcefully in the 93rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Americo Barros the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Martínez getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Americo Barros hit a great ball. Marcos Transito hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. Tamangueyú's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
