Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Aldo Astrada took the kick off in the first half of the match. Jáuregui's Niceto Montez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Delmiro Niguel in the 4th minute of play. If Aldo Astrada had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 7th minute, Segundo Ovando hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Aldo Astrada had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Aldo Astrada in the 11th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Niceto Montez prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 14 played minutes Jáuregui got a freekick which was hit by Diego Mon. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aldo Astrada in the 15th minute of play forced Jáuregui's goalkeeper Niceto Montez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Benigno Harri fell near the penalty area in the 17th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Jáuregui's protests and gave Benigno Harri a yellow card for diving instead. Leandro Feo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 18th minute of the match, but Niceto Montez made a huge save. After having played for 27 minutes, Leandro Feo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pedernal's supporters crossed their fingers, but Leandro Feo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With an all-out effort, Pedernal's Niceto Montez threw himself towards the right post 33 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Aldo Astrada, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Aldo Astrada fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Niceto Montez having to interfere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.
Aquilino Iigo kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. In the 53rd minute, Benigno Harri hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Pedernal booed when Jáuregui was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Benigno Harri didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 60th match minute, Jáuregui was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Benigno Harri to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Aldo Astrada in the 68th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Niceto Montez saved Jáuregui from getting behind. After having played for 70 minutes, Aldo Astrada managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Leandro Feo struck a weak shot in the 82nd minute. Niceto Montez didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pedernal. In the 90th minute, Leandro Feo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Leandro Feo took the ball and in the 92 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Niceto Montez. Niceto Montez dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. In the 95th minute, Benigno Harri got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Pedernal's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
