An unexpectedly hard shot by Octavio Montes in the 24th minute of play forced Palmitas's goalkeeper Raul Abeitia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Octavio Montes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Raul Abeitia made an important save on a dangerous shot by Prospero Kauldi in the 45th minute. In the 47th minute, Octavio Montes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

Octavio Montes took the ball and in the 51 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Raul Abeitia. Raul Abeitia dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Hermengildo Quiroga managed to get in a good position for a shot. Raul Abeitia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Octavio Montes, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. Prospero Kauldi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Raul Abeitia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Octavio Montes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Octavio Montes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Raul Abeitia having to interfere. In the 65th minute, one of Palmitas:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Palmitas. Alejandro Jorrin took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 79th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Eliseo Dei. Casaffousth's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. A collision led to Casaffousth getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Octavio Montes hit a great ball. Prospero Kauldi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 84th minute, Hermengildo Quiroga fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Dionisio Dayam struck a weak shot in the 87th minute. Eliseo Dei didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Palmitas. An unexpectedly hard shot by Prospero Kauldi in the 96th minute of play forced Palmitas's goalkeeper Raul Abeitia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Godofredo Elequemedo kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. Casaffousth's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Romulo Amato in the 99th minute. It was a well-played corner which Aristides Eder managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
