The supporters of Unquillo FC booed when Carapaligüe FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adolfo Gelacio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Eduardo Eneas received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Venancio Lucian came out and tried to block the shot, but Eduardo Eneas slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 26th minute. Serafino Cambranes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Severiano Mikeldi in the 35th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Unquillo FC's zone, Severiano Mikeldi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Serafino Cambranes came out of the goal and Severiano Mikeldi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Eugenio Matthew received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Serafino Cambranes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Serafino Cambranes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Severiano Mikeldi in the 41st minute of play. In the last second Venancio Lucian throw himself and got hold of the ball when Eduardo Eneas in the 43rdth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The wind increased when Eugenio Matthew made the kick off in the second half. Eugenio Matthew struck a weak shot in the 51st minute. Serafino Cambranes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Carapaligüe FC. 53 minutes into the match, Unquillo FC's goalkeeper Serafino Cambranes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Severiano Mikeldi. After some fancy dribbling in the 73rd minute, Eduardo Eneas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Unquillo FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Eduardo Eneas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Venancio Lucian breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Venancio Lucian showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eduardo Eneas, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. Venancio Lucian showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sixto Roldanillo in the 77th minute of the match. Domingo Che's late challenge caught a Carapaligüe FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Domingo Che helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Unquillo FC getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Domingo Che hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 84th minute, Eugenio Matthew managed to get in a good position for a shot.
