Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) VITESSE's Epifanio Izel started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Eloy Enaut in the 3rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bernabe Rozarius prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Justo Jobo during the 4th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. When the match had gone on for 12 minutes, Ovidio Hats took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Fabricio Naike to make any attempt to save it. In the 16th minute Ovidio Hats shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabricio Naike saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Laureano Palban might have been able to make a better finish in the 17th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Fabricio Naike. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Laureano Palban ran back to his position shaking his head. Eloy Enaut received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Bernabe Rozarius tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 26 minutes into the match, Arauco AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Epifanio Izel came free, but Bernabe Rozarius reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ovidio Hats received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Fabricio Naike tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Angelino Felipo during the 33rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Angelino Felipo hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. If Epifanio Izel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ovidio Hats to strike the kick off in the second half. Laureano Palban blasted a shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Fabricio Naike having to make a save. Fabricio Naike came out of the goal in the 53rd minute to try and stop a shot by Arauco AFC's Ovidio Hats. But to his dismay, Ovidio Hats quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Samuel Lluques charged in rather forcefully in the 56th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Samuel Lluques the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 56 played minutes VITESSE got a freekick which was hit by Samuel Lluques. Ovidio Hats scored 3-0 in the 60th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Fabricio Naike, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of Arauco AFC booed when VITESSE was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Angelino Felipo didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 66th minute of the match Marcial Odilon sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Fabricio Naike skillfully saved the ball. Ovidio Hats sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Ovidio Hats managed to get in a good position for a shot. Arauco AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ovidio Hats was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fabricio Naike breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With 81 minutes on the clock, Anacleto Dominic commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 80th minute of the game. One of VITESSE:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Arauco AFC:s goal. VITESSE's Fabricio Naike played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ovidio Hats in the 87th minute of play. A collision led to VITESSE getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Epifanio Izel hit a great ball. In the 95th minute Ovidio Hats shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabricio Naike saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Justo Jobo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Fabricio Naike having to make a save. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Arauco AFC fans cheered their team off the field, for while VITESSE had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
