Bartolo Salvadore showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Epifanio Izel, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. After having played for 8 minutes, Epifanio Izel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. VITESSE's supporters crossed their fingers, but Epifanio Izel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. VITESSE's Epifanio Izel got a good chance for a goal in the 10th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of VITESSE booed when Jorge R. Ross was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luciano Orlondon didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bartolo Salvadore showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Epifanio Izel in the 14th minute of the match. With a little luck, Jorge R. Ross's Bartolo Salvadore got control of the ball when Eloy Enaut tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 20th play minute Eloy Enaut came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Bartolo Salvadore. 1-0. After 24 minutes, Anacleto Dominic mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the VITESSE and the Jorge R. Ross players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to VITESSE getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Anacleto Dominic hit a great ball. Fabricio Naike showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ovidio Argina in the 25th minute of the match. Amado Honesto took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 29th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Fabricio Naike. VITESSE's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. A hard shot 33 in the game by Eloy Enaut from a close distance when the talented Bartolo Salvadore managed to make a qualified save. Jorge R. Ross's players were relieved. Epifanio Izel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bartolo Salvadore having to interfere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

If Emiliano Sendoa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 60th minute Epifanio Izel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bartolo Salvadore saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When VITESSE's Epifanio Izel in the 62nd minute got a chance for a shot 62nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Jorge R. Ross's goalie prevented a goal. The supporters of VITESSE booed when Jorge R. Ross was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Amado Honesto didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fabricio Naike stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Emiliano Sendoa's shot from short distance in the 69th minute. If Epifanio Izel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Emiliano Sendoa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Fabricio Naike tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Fabricio Naike made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gustavo Eufrasio in the 93rd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Epifanio Izel managed to get in a good position for a shot. VITESSE's supporters rose to their feet, but Epifanio Izel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bartolo Salvadore breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 99 played minutes Emiliano Sendoa rounded VITESSE's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-1. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
