The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Aureliano Reynardo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Salvador Leheren went, in the 5th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. An unexpected shot in the 10th minute by Jairo Lorenz got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. In the 15th minute Salvador Leheren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aureliano Reynardo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Ariel Raymond had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Vitguan Fc. getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Santos Sotil hit a great ball. The audience was convinced that Ignacio Teodor's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Aureliano Reynardo was relentless in the 25th minute of the game. Gustavo Bilintx charged in rather forcefully in the 27th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gustavo Bilintx the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Gustavo Bilintx kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. 28 minutes into the match, Villanueva FC's Santos Victoro broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. After having played for 36 minutes, Ignacio Teodor managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Villanueva FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ignacio Teodor was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Leon Videl recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Vitguan Fc. booed when Villanueva FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ricardo Rosalio didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Vitguan Fc. players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Villanueva FC were winning 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ignacio Teodor to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd match minute, Vitguan Fc. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gustavo Bilintx to maneuver through the defense. Ignacio Teodor fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aureliano Reynardo having to interfere. Aureliano Reynardo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Salvador Leheren in the 66th minute. Ariel Raymond hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Hilario Arlo during the 73rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card.
