Isidro Errapel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ezequiel Gorri in the 19th minute of play. An unexpected shot in the 20th minute by Leopoldo Hotz got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After some careless play in the Oberá defense, Herminio Firmin kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Leopoldo Lucila. The Oberá fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Leopoldo Lucila should have stopped the shot. The supporters of Oberá booed when Jáuregui was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lucas Ospin didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Ezequiel Gorri came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the Oberá fans jumped to their feet. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ezequiel Gorri made a kick off. Raimundo Ayala sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ezequiel Gorri fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Isidro Errapel having to interfere. Leopoldo Lucila took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Herminio Firmin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marcial Eguen charged in rather forcefully in the 91st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Marcial Eguen the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Oberá getting a freekick after 92 minutes play.
