After some fancy dribbling in the 6th minute, Valentin Salvino managed to get in a good position for a shot. Caroya's supporters rose to their feet, but Valentin Salvino was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Isidro Errapel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Florentino Orlanda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Octavio Aritza made a fantastic save in the 15th minute, when Raimundo Ayala sent off a good shot on target. Octavio Aritza was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Herminio Firmin showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 18 minute of play. 24 minutes into the match, Jáuregui's goal looked a bit too open when Orlando Ishmael came free, but Isidro Errapel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Raimundo Ayala came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the Jáuregui fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Raimundo Ayala couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 28th minute, Herminio Firmin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Jáuregui's supporters rose to their feet, but Herminio Firmin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Octavio Aritza breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Caroya booed when Jáuregui was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gervasio Hermon didn't get a good kick on the ball. Valentin Salvino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Orlando Ishmael had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Herminio Firmin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Octavio Aritza was relentless in the 41st minute of the game. Herminio Firmin was extremely unlucky when he, in the 43rd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Valentin Salvino in the 45th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Isidro Errapel saved Jáuregui from getting behind. After 47 minutes, Filomeno Policarpio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Caroya and the Jáuregui players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 47th minute, Filomeno Policarpio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

A collision led to Jáuregui getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Lucas Ospin hit a great ball. Caroya's Valentin Salvino got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 63rd minute, Florentino Orlanda hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Orlando Ishmael received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Isidro Errapel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Jáuregui's Lucas Ospin got a free kick in the 75th minute. Orlando Ishmael's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 78thth minute, Isidro Errapel skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 84 minutes into the match, Jáuregui's Herminio Firmin sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Octavio Aritza narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Jáuregui's defense didn't have a chance, in the 85th minute, when Valentin Salvino scored to the left of an out of position Isidro Errapel, making the score, 2-1. 92 minutes into the match, Raimundo Ayala notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Caroya's Octavio Aritza. Octavio Aritza was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Orlando Ishmael had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Isidro Errapel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Valentin Salvino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
