Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Guerrico's Cirilo Domingues started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 15th minute Cirilo Domingues shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ciro Barto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Raimundo Aresti had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Fernan Donzel during the 22nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 21st minute of the game. One of Guerrico:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Azopardo:s goal. 26 minutes into the match, Santiago Muc had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Astor Peru. Guerrico's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Santiago Muc was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. In the 31st minute the ball was on its way in behind Guerrico's goalkeeper Astor Peru, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 32nd match minute, Guerrico was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cirilo Domingues to maneuver through the defense. Santiago Muc fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Astor Peru having to interfere. Ciro Barto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marciano Ceandro, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. Cirilo Domingues struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Ciro Barto didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Guerrico. Cirilo Domingues fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ciro Barto having to interfere. Astor Peru showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Raimundo Aresti in the 47th minute of the match. After the first half Azopardo were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Santiago Muc stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Santiago Muc sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 67th minute Santiago Muc shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Astor Peru saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 69 minutes into the match, Azopardo's Raimundo Aresti sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Astor Peru narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 71 minutes into the match, Santiago Muc dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Astor Peru, 0-4. Santiago Muc recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a little luck, Guerrico's Astor Peru got control of the ball when Albino Orzaize tried to sneak it across the goal line. 84 minutes into the match, Guerrico's goal looked a bit too open when Albino Orzaize came free, but Astor Peru reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Santiago Muc in the 86th minute of play forced Guerrico's goalkeeper Astor Peru to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Santiago Muc kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Astor Peru. That made the score 0-5 in the 88 minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Raimundo Aresti got free with Astor Peru in the 94th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Azopardo's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
