Leopoldo Ferrer's late challenge caught a C.A.Trinidad San Juan's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Leopoldo Ferrer helped the player get up and apologised. In the 11th match minute, Rodeo AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leopoldo Ferrer to maneuver through the defense. An unexpected shot in the 19th minute by Aristides Domeka got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Aristides Domeka who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 21stth minute tested the skills of Filomeno Henrico when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 22nd match minute, C.A.Trinidad San Juan was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Damaso Ponciano to maneuver through the defense. Juan Gustau might have been able to make a better finish in the 26th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Filomeno Henrico. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Juan Gustau ran back to his position shaking his head. After 28 minutes of play Rodeo AFC's Leopoldo Ferrer was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Leopoldo Ferrer kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. Filomeno Henrico made a fantastic save in the 35th minute, when Aristides Domeka sent off a good shot on target. C.A.Trinidad San Juan's Filomeno Henrico proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 36th minute of the match, managed to save C.A.Trinidad San Juan from getting a goal against them. Filomeno Henrico made an important save on a dangerous shot by Aristides Domeka in the 40th minute. Braulio Fidensio kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. After 48 played minutes, Rodeo AFC's Emanuel Fero shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Filomeno Henrico came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Rodeo AFC reached it. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Nunez Elodio to make the kick off. When Aristides Domeka came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the Rodeo AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aristides Domeka couldn't finish the play. A collision led to C.A.Trinidad San Juan getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Nunez Elodio hit a great ball. Aristides Domeka might have been able to make a better finish in the 63rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Filomeno Henrico. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Aristides Domeka ran back to his position shaking his head. Filomeno Henrico took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aristides Domeka, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Ruben Cordarrel fell near the penalty area in the 71st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored C.A.Trinidad San Juan's protests and gave Ruben Cordarrel a yellow card for diving instead. In the 73rd minute of the match Emanuel Fero shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Filomeno Henrico showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Leonel Janpier's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Filomeno Henrico read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 77th minute of play. After 81 played minutes Rodeo AFC got a freekick which was hit by Paulo Honesto. Nunez Elodio received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Guillermo Jerrold came out and tried to block the shot, but Nunez Elodio slotted it home off the left post making it 0-1 in the 82nd minute. Rodeo AFC's Leonel Janpier got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
