Pastor Ramos might have been able to make a better finish in the 5th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Severo Ireno. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Pastor Ramos ran back to his position shaking his head. Cortadera's Jeremias Belo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 9th minute of the match, managed to save Cortadera from getting a goal against them. Doomster FC's Severo Ireno played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aurelio Olando in the 11th minute of play. In the 12th minute, Anastasio Eduino got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Pastor Ramos might have been able to make a better finish in the 15th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Severo Ireno. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Pastor Ramos ran back to his position shaking his head. The supporters of Cortadera booed when Doomster FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adrian Serafo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Pastor Ramos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Severo Ireno tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 20th minute, Pastor Ramos ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Severo Ireno was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. The supporters of Doomster FC booed when Cortadera was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gavino Bibiano didn't get a good kick on the ball. Pastor Ramos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Severo Ireno having to interfere. Dante Urre kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. Severo Ireno took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pastor Ramos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cortadera's Aurelio Olando got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 46th minute Pastor Ramos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Severo Ireno saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 47 played minutes Doomster FC got a freekick which was hit by Hipolito Cidro. After the first half Cortadera were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Alvaro Hitz to strike the kick off in the second half. Jeremias Belo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anastasio Eduino in the 53rd minute of play. 58 minutes into the match, Alvaro Hitz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jeremias Belo. Cortadera's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alvaro Hitz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Pastor Ramos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 67th minute, Aurelio Olando ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Severo Ireno was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. When Gavino Bibiano fell near the penalty area in the 72nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cortadera's protests and gave Gavino Bibiano a yellow card for diving instead. In the 72nd minute, Gavino Bibiano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Anastasio Eduino in the 76th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jeremias Belo saved Cortadera from getting behind. Gavino Bibiano got his second yellow card in the match during the 76th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Gavino Bibiano kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. Alvaro Hitz scored 2-2 in the 78th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jeremias Belo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Cortadera's Jeremias Belo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anastasio Eduino in the 84th minute of play. Severo Ireno made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aurelio Olando in the 86th minute of play. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
