Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Fulgencio Merexildo took the kick off in the first half of the match. Rodolfo Kiliz was out of position in the 4 minute of play, and Fulgencio Merexildo capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Fulgencio Merexildo really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. A collision led to Spurs getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Inocencio Frederico hit a great ball. 12 minutes into the game, Fulgencio Merexildo recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Rodolfo Kiliz. Fulgencio Merexildo showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. Rodolfo Kiliz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Edgard Feo in the 16th minute. Eduardo Tancredo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Maximino Ieltxu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 23 minutes, Patricio Matthew managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Azampay FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Patricio Matthew was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Azampay FC booed when Spurs was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Benito Frasco didn't get a good kick on the ball. Edgard Feo kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. Eduardo Tancredo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Maximino Ieltxu having to make a save. Patricio Matthew fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maximino Ieltxu having to interfere. If Patricio Matthew had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Spurs getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Lisandro Harri hit a great ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Patricio Matthew made the kick off in the second half. Through an outstanding action, after 52 minutes, Maximino Ieltxu successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Patricio Matthew in the 54th minute of play forced Spurs's goalkeeper Maximino Ieltxu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Benito Frasco charged in rather forcefully in the 60th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Benito Frasco the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Benito Frasco hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. In the 64th minute of the match Inocencio Loren sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Rodolfo Kiliz skillfully saved the ball. In the 73rd match minute, Spurs was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fidel Ebardo to maneuver through the defense. Maximino Ieltxu was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 74th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Marciano Guipuzkoa. Edgard Feo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rodolfo Kiliz having to interfere. If Patricio Matthew had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Spurs's Fulgencio Merexildo got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Nereo Mendebal kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. After 90 played minutes Azampay FC got a freekick which was hit by Nereo Mendebal. 92 minutes into the match, Fulgencio Merexildo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rodolfo Kiliz. Azampay FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Fulgencio Merexildo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. When the referee blew the final whistle, Spurs could leave the field as winners, despite Azampay FC having more of the ball for most of the match.
